I genuinely don’t get why people who see something they don’t like (that is not harming anyone in any shape or form) they feel the need to leave something negative. If you don’t like just skip, scroll on past it. No one is forcing you to read it. It’s totally fine if you don’t like it, I’m sure you have valid reasons for it but don’t be negative and projecting stfu

Please don't come at me for this but- dear Benjamin's new artist TT. IM SOOO SOOOOOO SORRY but the later half after the new artist took over. It just didn't interested me anymore.TT. (ps: I'm a sketch artist and a perfectionist i HATE my own art and SELF if it's not up to what I imagine, it's a hassle being one)

Yeah, you're so right and they're being mean to those artists under my comment, too, which is totally opposite of my original comment's point. I agree that constructive criticism is needed. (Especially for the plot aspect of the story) And the 'if you don't like it, you don't read it' response is getting old but necessary in these types of cases since if you don't find the art style appealing, just don't read it. I don't know what to tell you.

Well, still better than a pedophile's drawing. (The original artist was removed because they drew a fanart of Kpop idols in which a toddler version of said idol is getting penetrated by his teammate who's depicted as an adult.)

BUT THEN SEEEEE, if the author was able to hire such a good artist in the beginning so then why not a better artist for the other half too?!?! TT
THE NEW ARTIST was even a beginner!!!! Like a NEW NEW artist who just started TT. I know that the new artist tried but idk, the expressions and emotions, actions and gestures just didn't feel right and consuming.
Because DEAR BENJAMIN was such a popular manhwa during it's ongoing season, but due to the previous artist's situation they HAD TO skipped him/her. So then why not bring an experience artist to continue it till the end?! TT why did they have to bring a newbie whose very much VERY NEW to manhwa TT. Financial problems???!!!!!

Likely because it was discontinued for such a long time and it's fortunate to have an ending for that story to be honest. The author just wanted to finish it after tons of dramas and problems.

(Don't mind my upbove comment because I don't talk about the Artstyle right under the manhwa's comment but just skip if I'm not into it, I'm very picky and I fking hate that about myself, but one thing I'm good at is keeping my mouth shut about somthing i dislike by bottling it up inside n then later spew my nonsense somewhere else :3). And also, I'm a sketch artist so I get it especially the criticisms because I criticise my own arts to the point I just throw my art in the bin if I'm not content with it(￣∇￣"). (Being a perfectionist is hard.....it's not easy to deal with self)

Oh yes, at first I didn't knw what was going on. I was reading through (bingereading) when I saw a different Artstyle all I could........hmmm say was "watafak is this crap?" (ps I didn't know the artist change nor about the situation that happened so I was dumbfounded thinking it was the same Artist who drew the new one untill I realised and checked the comment section then found out that it was a new Artist..) but I mean i loved the story soo much to the point that I tried reading through another 5-7 chapters but I just couldn't handle it....it became rushed to the point that some details were left off and couldn't handle it so I just skipped it....I mean i did told myself "this is better than nothing" thinking about the behaviour of the OG Artist but...ahh idk I just couldn't force myself.TT

I get it. I also was disappointed, if I have to be honest, but given the situation, I think getting an ending is a miracle itself because I legit thought it wouldn't be continued at all. I finished reading it after the updates but still wished that the entire scandal hadn't happened and that the original artist wasn't a weirdo.

If I remember, I saw the OG's defense on twitter (?) where she stated how "it's not like it's only them who draws such, and then they drawing it doesn't technically make them a pedo" ....gosh I swear what is she even trying to defend herself with
