I think the problem here is that they both have some pretty bad self-steem issues. Her ex told her multiple times she was charmless and didn't know how to fuck; his ex dumped him. Being in love after going through this must be scary
Imagine if they get into a real relationship and still can't even communicate with one another. Realistically the relationship wouldn't even last long. 2 grown ass adults who can't even sit down and have a proper conversation. Ugh
