He's obviously terrified to fight back against his brother. His brother might want to kill him but Yigon definitely does not want to kill his brother and he's in such a state of fear that he can't think of anything except making himself unappealing to his Grandpa.
And I hate this ml, yeah he has reasons to be suspicious but he could do what the ml in No Moral did, hire a private investigator or ask questions. This dude quite literally just fucks him and stays completely aloof when he's breaking down.

Well, life isn’t that simple I guess, and maybe that’s just not what the author intended either. I mean, Yigon could have taken action, but if he was really that tough and powerful, why would he even ask Taekang for help in the first place?
Like, he could’ve just hired a lawyer, a private investigator, or someone else with the right skills and money to back him up. Honestly, I’ve also been wondering why he hasn’t reached out to his grandfather yet. The old man clearly has more power than his brother and seems to be on his side. But for real, I’m keeping all those questions with me because I really want to see where the author is planning to take this story.
Tbf the ML is still being reasonable by asking that question. Their relationship is a business anyway so he had to make sure it wont drag him in whatever past Yigon had.
Like imagine you are the ML and you are dating one of most scandalous influencer irl (imagine s/he is Yigon). So if ML treats Yigon with full of assumptions, its a given. Only us know how dire Yigon’s situation is.
The only issue here is that he’s deaf to Yigon’s silent pleas. He’s also taking a lot of advantage of him. Yet he still treats him better than most Red flag Ml.
In other words he is the greenest ml in the red sea.
Also Yigon needs to at least fight back his brother. He said he wanted to break free from him and yet no action was taken. I swear he can gather thousands of evidence.
I hope the Cop/Lawyer/Investigator is the actual ML. He looks waaay better than the current one.
