The novel had this part with Kiyoung manipulating himself done so well, that part had me, as the reader, wonder if it was really Jin that was the masked trash.
Also the part with the elf princess feeling Kiyoung inner darkness also had additional parts with her feeling others souls and Hyungsungs being very kind and clear one, it was a good build up with her straight up barfing on his turn lol.
