I don't know why y'all are so pressed on the apology. What sanada did was indeed wrong (extremely wrong) but rather than an empty "sorry" he expressed how bad he felt, which itonaga understood (though he is blindly in love). Not excusing sanada's bulling. I mean why tf would you BULLY him because YOU were lusting over itonaga. Sanada blamed HIM for his lust why because he couldn't accept the fact that he was gay. But he genuinely felt bad and guilty for what he did. And is trying hard to make up for it.
