i don't think they'll ever stop mentioning their relationship as brothers, during it or at any moment in the future at all.

i just think it's intentional to make the relationship unsettling (if u want depth) bc they projected each others trauma ,and whatever else it is, onto each other for comfort....trauma bonding if u will, just another whole level tho

it also reminds me of another story, it's a manga, i've forgotten the title (it's a bit more fucked up) i'm rambling...
