I can't say the quality of the translations since the translator who I had originally read the novel on took down their website (RIP).
That's exactly how I feel about the novel. If the artist could capture its vibe, I think it would be way more gripping than the overly bright colors clashing with the characters' psyche like we're getting now. Her storytelling feels kind of immature, chopping out too many details from the novel. I feel bad for the novel, putting in all that effort to support the artist's official work, giving feedback, and nothing changes. It's honestly kind of sad
