I read this when it first came out and I love how people were getting into heated debates on the overall morality of it and how Guwon was disappointing because he bludgeoned someone to death.

But ngl, if we think about it-- this works given the post-apocalyptic setting of the manhwa and even in past episodes Guwon has made it clear that he's a terrifying person who would do anything to keep his little town safe. People strictly follow a role in this town too so as to not appear useless. Do y'all really think Guwon is just some cutesy horny bl top? Literally everyone is scared of him and he only acts cutesy in front of teach. He's a complex character with no real knowledge of being normal since he was born amidst disaster. Like yeah, I feel bad for the father as well-- I would've slapped him too after that. But really, that's just how the world is for them right now. There's a lack of supplies, the world is overturned by undead. While the town is peaceful to some degree, people are scared deep down and it could only take a few for their peaceful town to suffer, that's why there's a system in place and Guwon and the others see to it that all follows.

Overall, Guwon is a much needed authority to keep things in order. The reason why we're all so mad at him and go eugh is because we see this world with the same naivety as teach who retains a sense of what the world was back then. He could teach Guwon right from wrong moving forward but then again, given the setting of the manhwa, Guwon's actions in this case makes sense. Both are complex characters and I hope we see how this all develops in the end.
