I think because we're used to the other one. The other translation is always further ahead.
genuinely i think it's cause sometimes the official translation basically doesn't translate the whole sentence. they just use words that fit best with the sentence it's in. if u get what i mean ;-;
like there's this one webtoon/manhwa and the official translation translated 'hyung' into the actual english word which was 'brother' and it just felt so awkward
