He enters MC’s house without permission, wouldn’t let go and had to be pushed away after being asked, making MC uncomfortable. He watched yeongwoon grow from a kid to an adult since middle school.
He’s not the one pushing the sponsor relationship, having a sponsor like that is normal in the manwha world of idols. Usually, it’s the actor who seeks out the sponsor, never have I seen it where the agency initiates it. You’re making an assumption on information we haven’t been privy to. Taegu is arguably just maintaining the status quo when he reminds the actor not to step out of line. And it’s a pretty weak point to say he’s problematic because he opens a door without knocking. Seoin raped mc but god forbid Taegu doesn’t knock and holds onto mc a second longer than expected! And just because he knew YW when he was a kid, doesn’t mean he had romantic or sexual inclinations since then (clearly he didn’t). Keep screaming grooming but he’s not made any type of advance on mc nor used his position over mc to make him do something he doesn’t want. YW is solidly an adult now (26), frontal cortex fully developed— there’s nothing wrong with their age gap at this point if Taegu decides to pursue things further

Just the fact that you’re making excuses when MC clearly is shown to be uncomfortable for the lack of boundaries Taegu has is odd. MC had to push him away. He’s not comfortable with the favors Taegu tries to push. Why do you think he doesn’t want to be accepting taegu’s offer to work for him. Looks to me he realizes taegu’s feelings and wants to create distance as he only sees Taegu as a family figure. Anyways if you wanna root for a man that watched the MC grow up, be my guest. Chapter 5 shows Mr. Kang saying how the sponsor is creepy and does weird shit, but they can’t say anything cause they’re the ones who turn a blind eye to it. (Mr.Kant is taegu’s subordinate that listens to his orders).
Chapter 12 shows Taegu kicking the actor in the stomach and threatening him to get things to be better with his sponsor.

He’s kept his feelings in check, never forced himself on YW or manipulated him into sexual acts. He cares about him and worries about the situation he’s in, so ofc he’s going to ask about it.
