First of all this made me so happy to read because you understand completely how this made me feel. I’m purely reading it for chaewoo atp, but I saw spoilers that there is no pregnancy and no baby whatsoever. And idk whether to be disappointed or relieved that he won’t have to bear that f***ers child. I spent 9hr binge reading this and Euigeon stayed the same the whole time if not maybe he got worse. Treating chaewoo like shit and breaking his heart and the next day talking to him like nothing happened and taking him out to eat like they’re bfs. His possessiveness fills me with so much rage. I honestly wish chaewoo could be with his other dominant alpha friend. Reading this became so painful near the end. Idk what to do or how to feel…

tbh I'd be glad if there was no baby bc this fuckboy ml clearly does not want kids and I'm -very- much of the opinion that if you don't want kids please for the love of god don't have them.
honestly his character makes absolutely no sense to me, like he was created as a foil to make mc miserable and that's it. if he has a personality or depth beyond selfish thinking with his dick we've seen none of it (to my memory, admittedly it's been a while since I've read the earlier chapters since I've been reading it since it began uploading here) he doesn't even seem to care that his parents are making him have a kid??? is he going to have character growth at some point? rebel and decide he doesn't want to go with mommy and daddy's dumbass tradition? him deciding not to put mc through it if there's a redemption arc might somewhat soften the blow, but it won't be a convincing happy ending regardless.
we can just keep hoping for the author to break tradition and have them split up...
The author expects us to like him? The only thing he’s said that shows how he feels about chaewoo is that he’s “so hot” and “interesting” like he’s literally just playing with him. Idk how this is gonna end but I feel like the author might just be projecting their weird fantasy cause wtaf. I keep saying “it’s not real it’s not real chaewoo is pretend so he can’t be really hurt” but damn my empathic ass I’m dying here. Had to go read something cute and funny to make me not cry. of course now that they're at rock bottom with each other that's when mc falls pregnant (probably, I'm guessing, judging by the spells of nausea and being picky with food and the mood swings and also just for drama)
ugh idk this is kinda dragging on at this point tbh. what is with these mls who wouldn't know an emotion if they got slapped upside the head with it. we haven't seen from ml's perspective how much he's in denial vs how honest he's being, but if he is in denial and does actually like the mc the author is doing a *terrible* job at foreshadowing it.
I give the ml exactly this: just bc someone likes you doesn't mean you have to like them back.
but he's an asshole of colossal proportion for using mc as a sex toy and acting all possessive over him while also just straight up admitting he might go back to someone else once their contract is over. I didn't have a lot of respect for him to begin with but that just set fire to the last shred of it. ml is a straight up sociopath.
at this point the author dug themself in so deep, no amount of suffering, groveling, or begging, would make this relationship seem equal after all is said and done. there's some kinds of hurts you don't really recover from and it's hard to suspend disbelief even in fiction that someone would be genuinely happy after enduring all that.
the worst part is normally I'm "leave his ass fuck this" but mc can't even do that. so it'll just be a shitty tragedy present wrapped up in a pretty little happy ending bow...
