Also idk it just seems impossible that they are one person, he disappeared for 6 months only but he was hospitalized during that time and was just running an errand when he had an accident - unless the aunt is lying. What if our mc and Owen are the same person, and Owen was his second identity which mc forgot. We were told that Owen got shot on the head and was brain dead before he died, but what ifs he only had amnesia and the gang fabricated the accident and made up the whole heart transplant ‘memories inherit’ stuff so they could find out about the dice from ‘Owen’. Plus Owen’s face was never shown. Mc’s original life with his aunt is still true and makes senses since ‘Owen’ is his hidden or code identity.
