Exactly!! I don't mind rape in a story where it's meant to be smth frowned upon and not romanticized so I'm enjoying this!
Whenever I read smth and there's rape but then it's romanticized and swept under the rug and replaced with fluff I get so pissed lmao
Tbh this. Like I completely understand why we dislike it in a romance, I hate it too. But this distinctly isn't a romance. It's f*cked up and meant to be that way and that's why it feels better to read than romanticized scenes.
Yk what, yes there’s rape but no it’s not romanticized. So sure why not. I saw the raws and it’s always depicted as rape, as fucked up and as insanity (even when the mc likes it). I much prefer something like this rather than if it was romanticized.
