I keep thinking that if we read the story from Diana's point of view we would also think about Hestia as the villain. Diana WAS the MC so of course she doesn't know what it's like to not be at the center of attention, she feels betrayed and abandoned by others and became obsessed with attention. That's right, losing her power is like losing everything that makes her who she is. Everyone would become crazy.
Her big fault are to have a straight line for good or bad (as many heroes do) and to be unable to forgive (just as Hestia actually).
I like it when villains have coherent feelings, it makes them more complex.
The only thing really annoying is how she never tried to mend her relationship with Helios.
And I'm open to discussion if you disagree of course

i think i would give her 50/50 if i hadn’t read the novel, i don’t remember everything that was happening but from the perspective of manhwa, i would say yeah she’s unfortunate to losing her powers slowly but homegirl literally clocked herself multiple times by contradicting herself such as when she was trying to shade hestia for climbing society’s ladders from commoner to high ranking aristocrat while she literally said “oh i was fortunate/climbed by my abilities” or when her not thinking through about soap situation / forcing her beliefs to others without strategy. i would say i would call her an ignorant or dumb mc (im so sorry my vocabulary ran out, not sure what else to call her when she is being this oblivious)

Honestly if we were reading from Diana’s pov it would be very annoying. It would be like reading all those cliche dumb MC romance stories but instead this time the MC wouldn’t win. Diana thought process is straight annoying even if in the beginning everyone would be on her side as she’s the MC as the story goes on people would drop it quicker because she has no self reflection, no smarts, no nothing except for “how dare this girl come here and steal my whole gig”. She neglects her ML to try and sabotage the villain of her story with dumb not thought out plans and making it hard for her ML to help her, she’s a massive hypocrite with the way she talks about her villain too which isn’t nice to read about from a MC perspective just very annoying. Idk if what I said made sense but all in all it would probably be an annoying read that would get dropped during the middle chapters

I would agree if the author didn’t do a complete 180 character assassination of Diana quarter way through the book. I was calling Hestia dramatic and telling her to relax her obsessiveness with Diana and Helios until that moment. I hate when authors do that
