Well I mean if he tried to protect his lover in the way ur implying the relationship with other nations would diminish causing his people to be at risk if he went touch against the others then it would most likely be another fire nation situation sooo
Dude, I'm talking about how his lover is being hurt and beaten up right under his territory and how he does not even know it. I don't know about you but if my lover was a slave and he's working in an unfamiliar territory, I'd be worried and have someone at least check on him from time to time to make sure he's okay. He can't even do that?? He's a king and he's supposed to be smart so he should have some idea at least of what the uke is gonna encounter, right?
