Wait hoooold up, I'm cooking something, he's going to want to kill the new caterpillar that's eating away at his shiny new thing. Which will in turn make our mc want to kill the new guy trying to get at her fucking caterpillar. Main conflict is going to be centered around her wanting to protect her brother and out lawyer thinking the brother is a leech oh my goooood I love plot

I thought he had an obsession with driving people to suicide but I guess I was wrong. Does he not want to kill the female lead? But then again it hasn’t shown her as a ‘caterpillar’ yet hmm

I don't think so, as he hasn't actually driven his sister to suicide! He just murdered her, while she was looking forward to the future. I think the mc is actually in a different position than his sister. In one of the chapters (maybe the latest?) he repeats to her, that she shines, and then it zooms in on his pen and his watch. I think he doesn't see her as a caterpillar, but more like the flower he wants to possess.

Oh I suppose that makes sense! Odd, I want to see a proper explanation for why he thinks she actually shines. The pen and flower make sense. The man he murdered was also a pitiful whistleblower who’s life went to ruin so I wonder what on Earth led him to kill him
