I agree with you but I also concur that, cute and clueless is exactly what a yaoi uke would be (stereotypically at least)
Jeong Yoon, with his clueless and bubbly personality, is quite similar to the lead in Fruits Basket imho. I haven't read many BL with such a clueless and bubbly MC, I might have to read more.
