The beta gets a makeover to look more alpha like. Gets caught as a beta first date with someone. Gets mad. The mc and the beta go to a hotel when mc is in rut, where there’s an omega that smells the mcs alpha pheromones and mistakenly thinks it’s the betas pheromones and thinks he’s an alpha since he still smelled like the mc after their spicy night. The beta spends time with that omega acting like an alpha and the mc helps make a perfume of his scent using his sperm so that the beta continues smelling like an alpha.
The beta then gets overconfident and uses mc for his scent after feeling the power of an alpha and starts to ignore him only seeing him to have sex to get his sperm for the perfume. This makes mc sad but doesn’t do anything about it and just follows the beta. The omega is afraid of not being wanted so he enters heat and brings the beta to a hotel so he can get marked. The beta doesn’t want to since he starts thinking abt the Mc but the omega is forcing him. Mc sees the beta enter a hotel with the omega and knocks on the hotel door so he can stop whatever was going to happen, and as soon as the door opens he smells the omega in heat which in turn activates his alpha instinct and loses his mind wanting to claim the omega. The beta stops him and bites the mcs neck which makes him pass out. Afterwards the mc goes and reveals the truth to the omega when he returns to the betas apartment he was gone.
The incident messed up the betas mental health so he disappeared for a while (the translation said months but I’m not sure) and only goes back to his apartment to pick up stuff only to find out mc is still living there, mc tells the beta he loves him, they have sex and after they’re done the beta packs up and leaves. As he’s at the bust stop mc stops him and says something (idk what since it was in Korean) and this stops the beta and stays with the mc. The end.
Actually it's kinda refreshing that the plot isn't like every other alpha turned omega story, but yeah I do dislike the cheating trope
