It helps, but long story short the top for this manga used to work with the top (Dooshik) from Pearl boy, they had the same boss (which was the unrequited love of this top who got married to a woman) Yuta used to be a host/prostitute in one of the establishments owned by this same boss too so in a way both mc from Ignite the Dawn worked for the same group/mafia, we don’t know the entire lore yet but seems like Seunghyun (the top) promised to rescue or help Yuta (bottom) to leave the brothel when they met in the past but he clearly didn’t and lied which is why Yuta wants revenge
