Inseob(Peter, his American name) didn't know Philip and Jenny's crush was the same person, but somehow he found out after. Philip and Peter's first meet was when Peter was learning Korean language (from my memory). So I think you're wrong, Inseob had always have crush on Philip/Wooyeon.

Before he became manager, he stalked Wooyeon(seme) for many months? or days (I don't remember anymore ), and it could be because of personal matters. Inseob(uke) had already been in love with Wooyeon, even wooyeon as Philip in america and his feelings began to develop more when he became Wooyeon's manger. He had always been guilty for his friend

Jenny(inseob's best friend), killed herself because of humiliation and depression. Here's the catch, wooyeon was never? at fault, (?), bullies of Jenny just wanted to humiliate her by using Philip's(seme) name and frauding letters. So Jenny thought it was Philip that was sending the letters back. She was pranked by wearing a cat costume in a party and that affected her so much. That's how I remember it.
