I can see what the author was TRYING to do, but I don’t think they were successful. The messaging is a bit misdirected, being both on the nose yet completely off the mark at the same time. And weirdly, a lot of things just straight up aren’t addressed at all, so you’re left a little confused and have to fill in the story gaps yourself. Didn’t find any of these characters very likable either, but that could just be personal taste. If you want a manga that addresses internalized homophobia, there’s definitely better than this.
