Did you finish the novel? If so I have a few questions if you don't mind. Is the novel worth reading? What exactly didn't you like? Only the fact the mc was biased and forgave ML even tho he was shitty?
I don't think the MC considers only the og body to be the villain. He was very vary of them when ML and Hyuk came to the restaurant.. and it is true though that the og body was malicious bc he wanted to put down/bully Jaeha when ML wanted to marry Jaeha albeit it was for his dad and all but that was likely the premise of the og novel.. he was onesidedly into ML before and bullied Jaeha for getting ML's attention, usually we'd root for the downfall of such a character or for ML to destroy him..
ofc what happened to og body was not justified especially when you consider in the og story he would have committed su!c!de with the child still in him.. two wrongs don't make it right.. but I feel ML is redeemable.. he felt guilty when he considered MC situation.. even when he was trying to get rid of MC when he found the MC left the inn they thought he'd commit su!c!de in he paid off his debts so the MC could start off fresh.. he cut off the ambiguous relationship he had with Jaeha and cancelled their postponed engagement altogether when he found out about the child before he even talked to MC bc it would have caused problem..
Regardless, I think they way ML and MC got together largely depended on them craving a family.. the ML couldn't bear how his father abandoned him after his mom's death and only came to him when he wanted to further his political career by marrying off ML to an influential family.. MC was an orphan before, even when he came to the alt universe the thing he was most satisfied with was that he had no debts and the child in his belly would be his family.. they both craved a family and their child just brought them together..
Also, when ML took MC and his child away to his house, MC never thought of settling there or forming any kind pf relationship with ML. He knew ML now knows that they have a child together and could take him away if he wished bc ML would give the child a better life than MC could. All he hoped for was to co-parent in peace and for ML to keep Hyuk away bc he was the one who bodily harmed MC and was trying to sell him off to a brothel to settle his debts.. Hyuk was also the one who kept some debts hidden from ML as a backup to control MC.. So no, I do not agree that the romance was smooth or that MC gave in pretty quickly, he had his apprehensions and treaded as carefully as he could in his circumstance.. and lets not forget the grandma asked the old man for help with the MC and his idea was to bring in ML bc he realized the child was his..
But still, the things the ML did to the OG, even going as far as making sure the OG died, were too cruel compared to what the OG did to Jaeha. I know he deserved it, but not to the extent of making sure he died. A simple apology isn’t acceptable, and the MC doesn’t even try to understand the OG’s situation or body at all
After reading the novel i dissapointed with the MC, he read the novel and think only original body is villian? Nah the ML and the original ML who scam and beats the original body also the real villian, mc didnt try to understand the original body at all? Why? (who he borrowed the body) , the romance so smooth MC doesnt hate ML at all which is its doesnt make sense! He beats him he make him suffered during pregnancy no hate at all? He kind of bias that thinking that only original body at fault, is it right to scam person, beated him and make him suicide? At least there is conflict and make MC remember what happened before,, its kind of loophole on what the reason original body harrased jeha? Why the original body parents died?
