Right now there aren't as many videos due to the blackouts and the killing of journalists, but last year, maybe more than a year ago, Israel had already bombed most hospitals and stopped life saving material from entering the strip and there was a shortage of anesthesia and I remember a video of a doctor who had to amputate his teenager's daughter's leg on the kitchen counter of his home. The situation has just become worse, with all hospitals bombed and the deliberate killing of medical professionals, with the starvation and the lack of clean water.

It’s heartbreaking
to think this is happening right now. not in the same context, but still happening. where? in gaza, for one. thousands, millions, of Palestinians and children's operations are done in an unsanitary, unsterile environment AND WITHOUT ANESTHESIA.
