Both Jake and Shin smoke throughout the series. First time Jake is seen smoking is in Ch. 5. A "cigarette kiss" between them (lighting the tip of one cigarette with the lit tip of somebody's else) occurs in Ch. 47

I'm wondering, did we ever see Jake smoke before? Or is he that stressed by Shin reading his file.
