The next chapter may not explain the mystery. Guwon may not even have done this to doctor's family or something may further complicate the meaning of Guwon's motivations, such as manipulation of someone that is mentally almost like a child. That's the charm of a good story.
The next chapter will make me choose if to drop this or not, I'm already more into drop it.
