Toda doesn't feel all that straight??? So idk. The way he talks about his and Hijima's relationship feels weird at times, more like he's drawing a line at being in a same-sex relationship than between himself and Hijima (like Watari had advised him to do, for example). Him being unsure on how to date Hijima bc with women he just had to act "accordingly", the safe choice of a "family-oriented" woman, the fact he apparently had trouble connecting to his exes... I don't necessarily think this means he's gay, but this very much feels like the typical case of denial where he's sticking to liking women because that's what he's "supposed" to do.
But honestly I do agree Watari and Tetsu should broaden their horizons (so to speak) lol maybe a polycule would fix them actually

maybe i'm just crazy but since we know that tetsu and watari like toda, and toda is straight. why don't tetsu and watari just get together idk, lil rivals to lovers moment. maybe it's just me but i've grown from pining after straight people, so if we have two canonical bi people, they should just bang it out lol
