Cause I can't wrap up what happening in latest chapter

When the apocalypse just started and a building collapse, Gyuwon raised from the rubble and the caption was like "somewhere deep down, there were those who longed for the day the world would turned upside down" at first I thought this was metaphorically like just a deep thought.
BUT if it's not and it meant literally, then maybe Gyuwon was really an experiment and was hidden below somewhere.

Then we see his foot walking from concrete to grass then concrete again to his Villa in the now Town. Another guess is one of the people who experimented on him owns that place, cause no way he knows that kind of place.

And the whole father backstory of MC screams that he was involved.
