Surprisingly a lot of smacked children

This comment section just shows how effective belt discipline really is. Traumatic, but effective.

Also yes, children mimic what the adults surrounding them do. Thats why teachers nowadays want to quit since parents dont do their part in disciplining their children at home.

True but doesn't it also mean that parents were raised wrong despite slipper culture?

Depends on how they reflected on the experience. Its not a one and done situation. Some of those raised in those households understood that that was how their parents knew best how to teach children about consequences, its not good, but it was the best those parent knew how to instill that sort of behavior and doing better by finding other ways to instill discipline without hurting their own children (which is called active parenting). And another situation could be that those raised in those households never reflected/processed that trauma and just saw that experience as hurtful, therefore developing a mindset of spoiling their kids rotten out of fear that theyll hurt their children (passive parenting). And there are those who chose not to do anything at all at raising their children, giving them free reign on the internet therefore developing behaviors based on tiktok/yt algorithyms (negligent parenting).

Thats why you can see 14 year olds reading pr0n on this website or Andrew T*te followers
