actually they even toned down the description of cruelty in the novel to the manga, because I remember reading that scene and going crazy bec it was the start of a crazy ride.

the mc heroine gets raped by the beasts that raped her younger sisters. she also got pregnant. she had sex with prince (I think??) to cover it up but after she gave birth, the one that came out is a beast human so you can guess that he felt betrayed. they divorce and then the cousin got adviced by our mc villain to seduce the prince lolz
also the priest corrupts the knight by making him witness him getting fucked and also made him watch another minor get fucked(?yeah Im forgetting bits of the story) because the church functions that way aka they get money from child prostitutions, which is why our priest is used to having sex. Anyway he also gets corrupted by that. Really big warning here bec it has that theme

and Ive already given multiple warnings about this series to people, yes it does go downhill and even the prince is not safe from the scheming
although he was so pitiful by the end of the novel, I think it’s funny (yes Im cruel) that he got manipulated into marrying his cousin. Take note of the circus event, it eventually comes back to bite the “main character” girlie in a way she didn’t expect.
