And why are they saving him if Guwon is that bad? They can just let him die if they all hate him so much. He ain't telling the whole truth. If he was at first surviving only for his family why'd he still come with Guwon and not just die with his family being all dead? They are definitely using him as a scapegoat.

That would make it even more suspicious. Because if the kids are allowed to stay there just because they were born there, why not take the older kids with you? They would grow up to be pretty useful. It is okay for infants to stay but not talking walking and self sufficient kids to stay? I don’t know
I feel like the doctor is lying. If he did in fact crushed the children's skulls or whatever then why are there three kids in the town to begin with??? Why are they allowed to live??? Something is not adding up. I feel like the town used his innocence and brutality to their own advantage and they are trying to make him do all the ugly work, while they pretend that they are innocent
