I thought it was weird too but honestly I'm kinda glad that they still found a way for him to have a guardian character even though he's older by giving him the new version of guardian characters
yea that's true...
I always thought the guardian character either disappeared bcuz the person was growing up or they achieved the goal of who they wanted to be. I thought the reason yoru went to sleep was bcuz ikuto's wish to be free was achieved, after all that is what yoru represented
yea that's the part that makes it weird. that should be it, so why give him a new one? i am happy Ikuto gets to be relevant again, but i do kinda wish they did it some other way.
Kinda weird that Ikuto's getting a new chara when the only reason Yoru went to sleep was cause Ikuto's growing up...
interestingly, his new chara looks like a Circus Ringleader.
