If you can't stand toxic BL, as in actual violent toxic BL, it isn't for you.
Good story but like other commenter says it’s toxic. Hard to stomach sex scene between mc and ml. While consensual mc did feel like a toy. Heard that ml starts treating mc better in the novel so there’s that. I really like mc because he’s a really well written character, but ml so far is ehh.

Honestly, it's interesting. Toxic yes but I feel like it's supposed to be that way, were supposed to see the manipulation and shift uncomfortably, the time of even the "romantic" scenes don't feel fluffy(?) they feel like we're seeing something wrong, there's no pink rose edges or those bubbles or cute sound effects even when we see the Mc make an expression that would usually call for it. I would say at least they don't sugar coat the abuse and the author understands that the Mc is a sad lonely person who's finding comfort in the worst and most manipulative person possible
