I'm one of the people that gets tired of oversaturated harem in action mang, but this one is so negligible. Of course some girls are gonna have a crush on a hunk that's powerful and saves them, but it's not to the point where they're just eye candy. They're a blink and you miss them characters. MC really said romance is for the weak.(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Honestly, none of the girls even have a crush or love. All they feel towards homen is all admiration and respect. Like a student who aims to be the best, following their idol. That's what depicted in the novel, i dont know how they will serialize it in manhwa form.
But anyway, yes, this story is a solid no harem or romance.
I haven't read the novel so I have no basis for it unfortunately. From what I've seen in the manhwa it gives the vibe that the artist uses the blushing faces and what appears to be the beginning trope of wanting to get to know a love interest. Funnily enough, the only character that seems to outright have a crush by the looks of it is the male knight who says Homen played with his heart after he saw the girl in his room. I guess I've just grown a bias to the blushy female faces in these types of manhwa to signify romantic interest. Glad to know that no romance really comes up. I'm just here for the cringe and epicness.
For those girlies who avoids harem/romance tropes in these adventure/action manhwas, I recommend this. It's not purely without harem , but the author focuses on plot and eventually you'll forget the romance scene only appear like.. one page in chapters ago. can't even really tell it "romance" but yk interaction with female side characters. Don't worry about it, just read it. It's worth . *Wink*
