there's part in the novel when he said inside his mind,

I was too much excited and found myself reading its novel version, and that one comment here that saying the manga skips multiple parts of the scene is true. it's more detailed in novel. also in the novel, it's explain the purpose of bird box mission which I finally understand the point of that mission. but you know, plot after plot. surprises after surprises.
and yes, he's in love.
