I’ll never understand why people still complain like this in the comment section of a yaoi read. You saw the tags and you saw the other comments so you knew what you were getting in to. Don’t you ever get tired of ranting “oh but real life victims” blah blah blah… (thankfully) this is not real life.
If it bothers you so much, maybe you should stop reading (most) yaoi. Switch to a softer genre, perhaps?
I'll never understand why people respond to criticism as if they were the author and they're having Big Feels about why someone would want less RAPE and more PLOT in a STORY. When I started this story, how was I to know that it would turn into a rape fest? I started from the very first chapter ever translated. No one knew what the story would contain at that time, you twit, except the author. I mean, do you think I can see the future? And for a while there, it seemed there would be an actual plot.
Most yaoi has a seme who can be redeemed or has some glimmer of humanity, so no, I shan't stop reading all yaoi because I complain about this single story on this site.

Yeah, this story is just straight up rape made to look "sexually appealing." The plot has becomes nonexistent.
It didn't used to bother me as much in yaoi, but the number of stories that perpetuate the "you enjoyed it, so it isn't rape" myth really demeans the real-life survivors of rape who have to deal with the shame of having felt pleasure during their assault. It's fairly common, because the body sometimes responds whether the mind wants it to or not -- for both men and women.
So this poor dude is getting regularly assaulted, his mind tormented because he now has Stockholm syndrome and his body responds to being raped despite his heart and mind wanting it to end, and the other dude is unforgivable in his violence and in how he demeans him, breaking his mind further.
At this point, the only ending I will accept is if he kills his rapist, whether he dies or flees doesn't matter. The rapist must die.
