For me it was clear that she will never be in love with them. It's not rare for young adult/teens to think they're in love with their caretakers, especially after they've been abused. That will change. Also they are not good people so I'm pretty sure they don't care about morals lol

But FL cares and see them as the children she raised. Also she kissed that priest. I hope they end up together.
