okay but like what about the other kids in the town. They don’t serve any actual purpose in the town, and the Woojun kid is always sick, why would guwon still leave them in the town.
I’m pretty sure they were born into the town and their parents were useful to Guwon, like the sick kids dad was working in the factory that keeps the town going, and he’s expecting those kids to grow up learning from their parents or to become something else that’s even more valuable, like a doctor, scout, builder, engineer, etc.
Guwon DID almost kill Jinwoo in the beginning after saying he was “useless” then found out he was a teacher then took him saying he did have a use..even I forgot he did that, but I’ve come to my senses. Guwon doesn’t care about if their kids or not, if their useless he’ll kill them, I thought he had a soft spot for kids but he doesn’t.
