I think teach might also be somewhat mentally ill bc remember when Guwon asked him about his father and his head started hurting and he couldn't remember a thing? I think there was definitely some abuse in Jinwoo's family
I don’t think he’s mentally ill just mentally forgetting. He has amnesia I think.
mc def seems like he has truama / repressed memories and shows symptoms of ptsd imo --- boy goes into a panic attack thinking about his father + will attack someone in his sleep cuz he unconsciously feels the need to protect himself physically

nah but teach fr seems to be the only one still sane w morals (( would say well adjusted but i guess not really for an apocalypse )) agree with everything else you said too
1. Cant even be mad at Guwon. I expected it since the beginning since he was going to kill teach.
2. We don’t even know what caused the apocalypse so maybe Guwon is related to that… Perhaps someone made experiments and Guwon escaped and his purpose was to be a killing machine to fight against whatever was going to be the end of the human race. Guwon is maybe a failed experiment because while he did erase all of his memories which they probably would hope would happen so he is emotionally grounded they instead erased all his humanity.
3. One thing that stuck out to me was their conversations about memories. Guwon is definitely gonna remember something and it may slightly change him but teach will probably lead him in that direction.
4. Guwon isn’t evil because he doens’t know the weight of his actions and he believes that this is whats good for the town. Children believe in right or wrong but only in one way. They try to follow rules or else they get in trouble. It’s possible Guwon either follows rules because that’s all he knows simply because of an unknown instinct like dogs do when they are shown something associated with a treat. They don’t know why they like the object but with association of treats all of a sudden they like it every time they see it. There is also a possibility that Guwon is more like a child than a dog and instead learns that you get punished or in trouble for not following rules and im not saying he has a master thats telling him what to do but instead just remembers being punished for not following them.
5. So yes Guwon can be fixed… only man I’m willing to watch be fixed but only because he is clueless and just needs to be taught.
6. EVERYONE EXCEPT TEACH IS MENTALLY ILL. All of them PTSD or something idek.
