I have a controversial thing to say: my main issue isn’t that theyre horrible people and do horrible shit to each other… it’s how stupid the author has written them like i thought the abandonment and revenge plot was interesting at first, back when they were in the bar, Yuta riled him up with his harsh words and left BUT then returned, kidnapped and raped Shiraishi out of the blue? Maybe the author had a different plot in mind and then just was like — booooooring! Time for rape!

Also if Yuta is strong enough to pick up and carry Shiraishi how come he couldn’t fight him off at all and didnt even attempt to do so? I’m so confused.

I wish the author had written them more mature, more cunning and vicious… as two people who hate each others guts and want nothing more than to ruin one another, who plot and scheme against each other whilst partaking in the same project (the casino). All the while their physical attraction (that they have to admit always existed) grows again and erupts eventually

Not whatever this is

the author just doing whatever she feel like it’s so obvious this story wasn’t written in advance she’s just rawdogging the plot

I totally agree. Last chapters confused me so much exactly because it's not following anymore the First premises

    Nice insight! ヾ(☆▽☆)

I did wondered all that too... It feels like it's half done, half created... That's why I am a bit disappointed but I am also quite intrigued... I hope there are some explanation about why things went like that or else it will just remain incoherent based on the first chapters...

Maybe the author isn't into building up much the characters? Maybe the author is too young to even think about putting the characters some depths instead of elaborating just a "sad backstory with incoherencies"? Maybe the author follows a certain empty and angst plot without much thought?

I don't know... After pearl boyz I thought the author would improve the depth of the characters...
    Who knows? ╥﹏╥

nah I agree. the underlying plot seemed interesting but the execution makes it seem like the author is planning to stretch it longer.
like yuta should have rather used his prominent position in the casino project to mess up if he wanted revenge that bad. also the last and this chapter was so unnecessary considering SH realized the gravity so easily. they could have just transitioned to the backstory way before all these sa and

Totally agree. Yuta was presented as a layered, very smart character, cunning, driven to succeed, cold headed and powerful.

The casino deal ... Ok. But meeting your "enemy" in the middle of nowhere, without any back up. Asking him to dress up (why did he even ask that) and the extremely weird scene in the car between them ....

And now this? Blood, violence explored superficially, crying and fainting ?

Where is the smart, mature, interesting and thrilling plot we were promised ?

You’re right, maybe the author just wants to draw more angst and less plot, I really dont knowwww but im still gonna keep reading tho ( ̄へ ̄)let’s see where it goes

Exactly and i dont get why the 18+ scenes have to be rape? I think the author doesnt really understand what rape is and what it does to people, and that there’s no saving a relationship once sexual violence occurs. I think they’re mistaking rape for “rough sex”….

I wish the author had written the casino plot as something both of them were forced into. As in, Yuta had to continue his late husbands project or be kicked off the director’s board in his company, and shiraishi desperately wanted to fulfill Jaeils dream because he still loves him. And that would have been the PERFECT enemies to lovers set up. They should have been fighting over the project and who gets the most shares, influence etc over the casino instead of raping each other… Shiraishi would use his usual gangster methods to gain power, meanwhile Yuta would have a more professional, legal approach…. arghhhhhh screw this im learning how to draw and writing my own story

I agree!! I assumed yuta would be some intelligent mastermind and everything that has happened so far was all apart of his plan. So it was very disappointing to see that yuta was actually just immature and overconfident. Like bringing your opp to an empty parking lot with nothing but a dash cam? Not trying to victim blame Yuta but this whole situation could’ve been avoided if he made better decisions. Such a shame that the author fucked up a character like that.
