There's nothing to forgive you for unless you're admitting to SA'ing people, watching someone get SA'd or knowing someone is being SA'd and doing/saying nothing.
People HATE to hear the truth but these are fictions. Unfortunately yes, they are for some reason extremely common..especially in BL when it comes to the two main characters meeting for the first time...even though the plot could literally go without it. But thankfully, they're not real so asking for forgiveness is kinda weird and unnecessary unless this is your way of getting rid of some guilty irl conscience you have
The difference between these two things, fiction and reality is with mangas, again, special mention to BL, it's dubcon, where they do want it/like it (if I'm using that term correctly). And when that happens the characters themselves are fine and really dgaf because they werent hurt in the process whether it's physically/mentally or both. Unlike reality where persons genuinely don't want it and can end up being traumatised.
I've never read a manga though where the author has added SA and the character actually doesn't want it leading to them just ignoring it afterwards. I'm usually pretty satisfied because the authors always give those kinds of characters the best fitting punishments
Not trying to be rude/start anything at all, the asking for forgiveness part of your comment just caught my attention
Why do they straight up add an SA scene, as if it's the most common shi ever, I read a very good story rn and one chapter randomly had shi added as if it's needed, like why would you do this?
As nasty as it is, I'm guilty of pretending that shi never happened and moving along, pls forgive me
