the whole point of that arc (him not helping and the mc being a bystander) was to show that neither of them were perfect/great ppl. Just regular ppl. Ofc it’s not good what he did at all, but he didn’t care about anything at the time so
How will he even do that when he himself was a victim of abuse??
everytime i reread this, i always get annoyed how the blonde ml ( yes i forgot their names) never stood up for the bullied dude. And the thing is , he wasn't scared of standing up, he had full control over the bullying, he just didn't want to help.
Or can somebody concvince me that he actually tried helping and I just didnt see
