This could be wildly off for sure cuz idk wtf is really happening, but right now the vibe feels like Guwon is treating everyone in the town like dolls almost, or maybe pets? And he is collecting them to make a neat little society, but if one of them breaks the rules, it's like he's has to put down a rabid pet dog or something. Like he's sad to do it but he feels like it's something that needs to be done for some reason. I definitely don't think he's human

His odd behavior + lack of knowledge seems like a trauma response where the person forgets things or their mind reverts back to a stage it was in the past to protect itself. But also maybe since he isn't fully human he was not able to retain the entirety of his human memories. Or maybe he never learned proper human behavior to begin with? im so curious to what exactly he is, so many questions could be answered with that.
One thing that is also super duper mysterious is how committed he is to following this specific procedure of eliminating people and ensuring the town can survive. It feels almost as if his brain is like "programed" in a way to do that. Especially because how would somebody whose mental age is so low they have less knowledge than little children be able to come up with this system that runs the whole town and ensures humanity continued to survive. if bro doesnt even know the definition of simple words how tf did he find out how to do allll this
Im starting to wonder like is there somebody who could possibly have more control than Guwon? With the way he acts it would just be so random for him to have decided to gather a bunch of "useful" people in this town. Like maybe somebody wanted him to find people. okay i need to stop my mind is literally overflowing with thoughts that are probably all wrong
So what are the theories as to why Guwon cried and whacked his head before the execution? I know we all for the most part agree he isn't fully human but that was extra odd behavior. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
