U think so? Not about the mom but “love history “ I think is very different. The ml is different and his motives are not the same, he doesn’t have the understanding of feelings esp his own. And the mc is also differently motivated and has a loving family and is clever and quite strong.
In the part where the ML wanted to break the MC's legs (arms?) and locked him up instead. They have the same confusing feelings, like it's either obsession or love, which couldn't be identified at first until the story progresses. Both of the MLs could be kind, but they can fake their emotions (I'm not sure if the ML here could understand the feeling of his own). And they somehow like the idea of their Uke begging for them. Both of the MCs literally caught the ML killing someone who somehow dug their own grave. Also, MCs in both stories have ideas of "escaping," but because of their naivety, they both end up failing. I'm not saying they're literally the same, just some of the vibes here(mostly of the ML). After all, I think these "traits?" or scenes could be common in other stories with the same genre or plot, I guess?
