Unpopular take, buuuut- I kinda didn’t want them to get together in the end? Wish our MC had of succeeded in paying off the debt himself somehow, and then he and McQueen go their separate ways, for completely fresh starts. Just can’t feel good about their relationship continuing after that exchange on the bridge. That felt pretty unrecoverable. And there’s still an *ick* feeling even after the makeup. A terribly optimistic part of me wishes he could have just gotten with the roommate, they could have rode off into the sunset together and raised a little family alonside the food truck or something, lol. Him and Ryan felt like two peas of the same pod, especially since they had such similar experiences at the hands of McQueen. I really felt that concern when Ryan was worried about them getting back together. The power imbalance will definitely continue. Also the p*rn employees were annoying af, I hate it when side characters have no idea what’s going on so they just pop up and say whatever they want making shit worse. Like “shut uuuuup!” Geez
