I’ve made it to chapter 31 and even though I’m not too far from the end of this volume I think I’ll wait until it’s fully finished before I continue. The apostle is annoying me plus I’m still not really a fan of Suho. Also the fact they keep introducing specific monsters Jinwoo already fought just feels like a “hey remember these? remember when his father fought them?” instead of a natural occurrences they were most likely going for.
And while the companion system is pretty interesting and I would like to see all the heirs, it’s not that interesting ☠ honestly the main thing that drew me to the original story was the fact the main character becomes over powered and doesn’t need any help. There are plenty of shows and books about a character who’s powerful but more powerful with friends already, so this and others like it (my baby One Punch Man) are chefs kiss to me. I get why they did it though, maybe.
Honestly reading this just makes me miss the original and wanna re-read it.
