I don’t know, it’s just my opinion. Since the grandpa was supposed to die, his body basically can't hold his soul anymore. But since Taesun already agreed to bear Geumryang's seed, Geumryang should fulfill Taesun's wish to keep his grandpa alive. Actually, I always think that if Taesun asked Geumryang for prosperity, since he's poor as hell, Geumryang could also do that. But from the start, he only asked him to keep his grandpa alive.
So basically, every night the grandpa might be dreaming the same dream, because he was supposed to have died since the first time Taesun met Geumryang. But Geumryang always came to the grandpa's dreams to stop him from following Taesun's parents. Also, if Taesun's grandpa can go back to his house, where will Geumryang have to live then? Looks like the next chapters will be awkward ╥﹏╥
