Wait that’s a good point. I just assumed the grandpa was related to the father of taesun since taesun is drawn to looks like his father. But you’re right, maybe he is related to the mother of taesun.
I don’t know but I think the dream of grandpa wanting to follow his son into the afterlife symbolizes that he wants to rest with his son, and the snake got in the way of that- almost seems like they intervened on what the grandpa is destined for…
