But he's not searching for a reason to kill, that's not his goal. He just "wants" thingsand kills the "pests" he believes get in the way of obtaining them. He doesn't particularly enjoy killing, it's simply a needed action for his goals. The reason he killed the caterpillar in the past, was because he wanted the flower and it was ruining it. Same reason why he killed his sister, for the pen. Murder is just means to an end. Now, he wants the teacher because for whatever reason he considers her an object, a precious one.

Yeah, but he's going to also purposely leave some, so that she gets desperate enough to depend on him. Hence why he purposely told to the little shit's mom in the cafe that she's going to sue, even tho she wasn't planning to. He does whatever's convenient for him in order to completely own her. And man, he's certainly not the type to give up.
