*not too late bc they are still teenagers. unfortunately this is noble society so the repercussions of the act can be more devastating
Especially since teens at that era are considered adults who are still tied down to noble/family lineage. So like an adult still being under the surveillance of their family until they got married and inherit the noble title (There's still parental/blood-related people influences and the such). So liek it's kind of too late. I agree on this comment
alright the little sister actually not that bad
children can be very unreasonable, but that's why parents have to guide them. but the parents here enabled her to act more unruly
she also met the fiance first without knowing who he was, so i think at least she genuinely had a crush towards him. it's the fiance who is the trash for easily get swayed
then as teenagers, she just did what she usually do, and people around her also believed her because of her natural confidence and charm (it such a shame to use it for negative stuff)
it all began in childhood. but there are many people like this irl too, and tbh it's not too late for them to change
