I love how all the photography girls were accepting and supportive! They even side eyed him when they thought he may have been bringing some homophobic bs to the table. It felt so life like the way it was casually worked in to their convo. My girl group have had similar conversations of "oh did you see so and sos new bf? Talk about power couple". This was such a refreshing way to see casual acceptance of queer relationships. Usually with scenes like this it's a group of ppl discussing a gay relationship with one or 2 people on the fence/iffy about gay love and the rest educating them on it until it reaches this point of "acceptance" in the conversation or the homophobe gets thrown at the group/conversation (usually they're a jerk side character already). While I like these scenes there's something so comforting about the way the scene was handled in this story. It shows how queer love is normal, these girls didn't think it was odd or even something particularly special outside of it being a cute celebrity couple casually mentioned in passing over drinks.
